Lovely pool and outdoor area

“This place is amazing!! We stayed for three nights but wish we had stayed more! Our family of four stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The air conditioning was great, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very nice, the outside table area was wonderful, and the bathroom was beautiful! Jason, the on-site host, is so knowledgeable and helpful with any arrangements or recommendations for restaurants or activities that you might need. There is a lovely pool and an outdoor kitchen/eating area available as well. We were thrilled with our stay and cannot wait to return.”

 

Extremely private

“Exceptional private building tucked into a small alley. Extremely private. The best part was feeling like you were in the middle of the Costa Rican vegetation, while still being extremely clean, bug free, and updated. The best part was the friendly, outgoing resident manager (Jason). He made our stay extremely comfortable. Extremely knowledgeable about the local area, full of tips about food, outings, and other insights into Costa Rica and the Tican culture. We highly recommend this place to stay and recommend all visitors to take maximum advantage of the knowledge that Jason has to offer.”

 

Wonderful

“We had a really good time in Manuel Antonio, and one of the reasons was this place. Everything is well thought through and lovely made, the service is excellent and super personal. You might even just get a mango grown in their own garden. You can bbq, chill and are super well located between Quepos and the park. Absolute recommendation. I was so impressed I created this account to share our positive experience for others.”

 

Super secure, clean and well maintained

“This place is great! Jason was super friendly, helpful, and the best Airbnb host I’ve had. He provided tons of useful info. It felt like vacation even without going around town. The place is super secure, well maintained, clean, and has some cool extras like a pool, water fountain, and a lookout tower (I think that’s what you’d call it? crow’s nest? I dunno, but it’s pretty rad) with a really nice view of the ocean. I’d recommend staying here, unless it’s when I go back to Manuel Antonio, because I want to book it again.”

 

Best host you could ask for

“Jason was the best host you could ask for: super friendly, had fantastic local advice (including a packet of every place to visit in town, the best beaches, and all the best excursions – with detailed directions on how to get there and where to park to avoid tourist traps), and was always available to help us out. Extremely knowledgeable of the area and always ready with advice to make your stay in Costa Rica perfect! The room itself is beautiful, exactly like the pictures, and very clean. Pool is always a perfect temperature, strong A/C unit, kitchen has dishes and cooking supplies, TV has Netflix, patio is large, everything you could want. The area is fully enclosed/gated and feels very safe. Best part is you really don’t need a car! Villas Oasis is a 5-15 minute walk to everything (restaurants, markets, etc.) except the beach and Manuel Antonio (but uber is cheap). Stay here if you want the perfect vacation in Costa Rica!”

 

Second time here

“Second time staying in this appartement. Super clean and maintained. Pool are is nice to just chill and hang out. There are hammocks and beach chairs. Pictures are 100% accurate. This apartment is centrally located making it easy to get to just about anything & everything in Manuel Antonio. There are multiple grocery stores, markets for shopping and delicious food places nearby. The neighborhood is very safe & Jason was super nice with us, he made staying there so much more pleasant. Thanks again and who knows maybe we’ll be back next year.”

“Great place to stay. Close to lots of restaurants and attractions. Very welcoming concierge (Jason) suggesting good restaurants and places to visit. Accommodations includes a well equipped kitchen, plus an outdoor kitchen with a bbq, a swimming pool with hammocks and a mirador. I totally recommend it his place!”

 

Ideal Location

“This place is great! Ideal location, clean space, lots of room in the unit. The pool is a nice touch to finish off a day of adventure. Jason was very attentive and available for questions. He gave us a lot of great recommendations for things to do and places to go, and had lots of great insight into the area in general. Would recommend this place to anyone going to Manuel Antonio.”

 

Exceeded our expectations

“Our stay at the Hidden Oasis far exceeded our expectations. We are a family of four (kids 10 &14 ) and stayed here for a week. It’s in the best location ….close to everything but still feels very remote and secluded at the same time. The property is beautiful and has all the amenenties that you want. Along with the accommodations, the property manager/concierge distinguishes this property from others. He was extremely helpful in educating us about the area as well as booking excursions. Highly recommended!!”

 

Definitely an Oasis

“We stayed at Villa Oasis in February 2018 at the end of a 21/2 week trip to Costa Rica and found it very relaxing after the previous busy weeks. The hotel was very clean and quiet, being just off the main road, but still walking distance to food stores and many restaurants. Jason was excellent and provided very good advice on restaurants, walking safety at night, parking at the National Park as well as helping us get the BBQ lit one night so we could cook dinner (there is an extra safety switch on the propane). He also recommended a couple of white water rafting companies and the one we chose was excellent. He even went to their office for us to retrieve a hat we had left in their car. Would stay here again.”

 

Safe and great grounds

“We stayed at a few places while in town, which made us appreciate this place so much more. It’s in a great location, the concierge is awesome, and the amenities are really cool. It feels very safe, the grounds are really cool, the housekeeper does a great job, everything we wanted was there, the yard is a wonderful place to hang out, and the observation tower is a unique feature that we certainly took advantage of. Jason had great communication and super helpful, including booking us some adventures we’ll never forget”

“We really loved this place. The grounds are beautiful and the space is open, airy, and has all the amenities you would want. There is a great pool, outdoor kitchen, and even an observation tower that we really enjoyed. The location is great – at the top of the hill. You are only a couple minutes from the park entrance in a car, but you can also walk safely to many restaurants and shops – we had our 5 yr old with us and walked until after 10pm with no concerns at all – great town and great people. Above all Jason was a fantastic host – very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable. We hope to return in the future.”

 

Safe, clean and quiet

“This place is amazing. Super safe, clean, and quiet. Our family had a great stay here. Also would be awesome for a friends getaway (book the 3 units), or couples trip. Very home-y vibe to the compound. With only 3 units and Jason onsite almost all the time, it is literally an oasis. You can relax by the pool or in one of the three hammocks, cook a meal on the bbq, or take any of Jason’s excellent suggestions for local attractions/restaurants and you’ll be happy. Jason is a local expert, and ensures you get whatever you need to make your trip perfect. Every recommendation was spot-on. Groceries are literally steps away, as are fantastic tacos. Would choose this place first on another trip to Manuel Antonio.”
